About the Self Advocate Entrepreneur

Born in 1989, Chris May loves photography! His favorite subjects to capture include animals, nature, landscapes, and sporting events. Chris exhibits and sells his photos at conferences, including the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress and National Down Syndrome Congress, as well as at a store on Cape Cod. He began taking pictures for the Newton South High School track, football and baseball teams. After passing Massachusetts’ state standardized test and graduating from Newton South high school in four years, Chris took his graduation money and bought a D300 Nikon camera. For the next two years, he attended the Riverview School on Cape Cod and took many pictures. When Chris is not behind the camera, he works at Star Market, enjoys playing tennis, participated in Special Olympics, attends Red Sox games, is an avid reader, and spends time in Chatham, a very special place.
